Industry-Specific Divisions

Polyoak comprises several specialist packaging divisions to provide industry-specific expertise to support customers’ growth with a positive sustainable impact. Our specialist garment hanger division is Visconti.

Energy-Efficient Technology

Our manufacturing facilities employ advanced energy-efficient moulding technologies geared towards high-volume, low-cost production. Polyoak’s small teams of experts work closely together in partnership with our customers to deliver high quality, environmentally sound packaging solutions.

Ethical Food Safety

Quality assurance is guaranteed with internationally recognised food safety certification including FSSC 22000, and specialist support from our on-site microbiological laboratory. Raw materials for food packaging are compliant with EU legislation, and procurement is governed by strict quality specifications for consistency and full traceability. Our responsible labour practices guarantee ethically produced packaging that is safe for the end consumer and kinder to our planet.

We are passionate about the environment and committed to taking a leading role as a responsible producer, actively participating with the relevant producer responsibility organisations and being a founding member of the South African Plastics Pact.

Our Polyoak Family Educational Foundation provides tertiary bursaries for our employees’ children and we are extremely proud of our Teachers Plus Foundation which offers scholarships to students from high-need communities to become professional Mathematics teachers.
